Arts & Crafts

The main purpose of Gan Eden’s Arts and Crafts program is to nurture the child’s artistic expression as a means of personal expression and communication tool.

Children are exposed to the following, etc.
1. Apparent Plastic Arts – Shape creation expression of an idea, emotion, resemblance to shape and relation to the medium, to material and structure.
2. Music – Active listening, Identification of Musical Elements: Sounds, Rhythm, Volume and Shades, Sound Design of different musical instruments.
3. Dance – Expression in Movement, nurturing the feeling of movement, group dancing, international folk dancing.
4. Theatre – Expression through dramatic tools, i.e. acting, role-playing, pantomime, puppet theatre.
5. Television and Film – Critical viewing and understanding story-line.
